I had the privilege of displaying my work as the Featured Quilter for the 2010 Quilted Memories quilt show put on by the Emerald Valley Quilters in Eugene, Oregon, on October 2nd and 3rd.
Margaret and Virginia were pros at helping me hang the quilts .... and a lot of fun to hang out with at the show.
The quilt behind the Guest Book table is my
CALIFORNIA STAR MEDALLION.
The quilts are NORTHWIND on the left and ROSE ARBOR on the right.
This is my SAMPLER QUILT made with 8"finished blocks.
This is Loretta Orsborn. She did the fabulous quilting on my blue and white sampler.
I loved the opportunity to hang some quilts that rarely get out of the closet.
Here’s my Vintage Moments Quilt (the “mama” quilt) and a quilt displayed in the show made from my pattern. What fun!
Break down always goes so quickly, but it can be quite a letdown after a year of meetings and planning. I can’t give enough praise to the Emerald Valley Quilters show committee. Their show was so well organized, there was not one glitch. I think they’ve done this before.
