Feathered Star Block Gallery

“Really hard blocks that take a long time to make!”

Not really. Feathered Stars look intricate, but they aren’t particularly difficult to make, they just have a lot of pieces and take some time. The results are well worth the effort. It’s a design that invites you to slow down and do your best work.

Here are some of the many Feathered Star Quilt block designs I have published over the years and where to find the patterns.

Electric Quilt Feathered Star Pattern Collections

My two books, Feathered Star Quilt Blocks I and Feathered Star Quilt Blocks II, contain many Feathered Star designs. These collections are also available digitally as add-ons to the Electric Quilt (EQ8) quilt design software. The advantage of the digital format is that the block templates can be printed out in any size you want. For example, if you want to make the 15” Radiant Star block in at half scale (7-1/2" block pictured here), the program will give you templates for that size.
